Heres the poem that I was talking about.


Alone I once was

I stand alone on this earth,
The pain, it has so much worth.
The tears run down my face,
As I bow my head in disgrace.
Looking back at what I’ve done,
I know now that it wasn’t fun.
I need to change what I do,
It could give my future a whole new view.

I walk alone on this earth,
Bound by sin, it’s all I’m worth.
Walking backwards instead of forwards,
I am at a loss for any words.
When do I change the path I’m on?
Will I get to see Gods true Son?
This stroll I take in time,
Leads me till I’m set in mime.

I talk alone in this earth,
One voice is all I’m worth.
I want to hear Gods Calling,
Will it come when my life starts stalling?
Please, O God hear me now,
Show me the way, please just show me how.
Be the one I can listen to,
When I’m down and feeling blue.

You lead me, now I’m not alone,
You helped to remove that burdened stone.
You picked me up when I was weak,
You held me close, close by your cheek.
You gave me hope on my stand, my walk and my voice,
Now I realize, the change was truly just my choice.
